Icebreakers Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Icebreakers ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

1.1 Agreement Acknowledgment

These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you (the end-user) and Peter Minwegen ("we", "us", or "our"), not Apple Inc. or any of its subsidiaries (collectively "Apple"). Apple is not a party to these Terms and has no responsibility for the App or its content.

1.2 Compliance with Apple Media Services Terms

These Terms do not conflict with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. Your use of the App must comply with the App Store Terms of Service.

2. License Grant and Scope

2.1 License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Peter Minwegen grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App for personal entertainment and social purposes solely on Apple-branded products that you own or control.

2.2 App Functionality

Icebreakers is a social entertainment application that allows users to:

• Access conversation starter questions and icebreaker games
• Share questions via the iMessage extension
• Use the app in group or party settings
• Customize categories and preferences

3. Free App

Icebreakers is completely free to download and use. There are no subscriptions, no in-app purchases, and no hidden fees. All features are available at no cost.

4. iMessage Extension

4.1 Extension Functionality

The Icebreakers iMessage extension allows you to send icebreaker questions directly within the Messages app. The extension:

• Provides question cards you can send to contacts
• Does not read or access your message content
• Does not access your contacts or address book
• Does not transmit any data to external servers

4.2 Apple Guidelines

The iMessage extension complies with Apple's App Extension guidelines and operates within the sandboxed environment provided by iOS.

5. User Content and Conduct

5.1 User Responsibility

You are responsible for how you use the App and the conversations you have. The App provides question prompts, but your answers and interactions are your own responsibility.

5.2 Appropriate Use

Icebreakers is designed for positive social interactions. You agree to use the App respectfully and not for harassment, bullying, or any inappropriate purposes.

6. User Data

Icebreakers stores preferences locally on your device. We do not collect personal information or conversation content. See our Privacy Policy for complete details.

7. Maintenance and Support

Peter Minwegen is solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support services for the App. Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance and support services with respect to the App.

8. Warranty

Peter Minwegen represents and warrants that the App conforms to any applicable specifications. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price (if any). Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App.

9. Intellectual Property

The App and all related materials, including software, design, graphics, questions, and trademarks, are owned by Peter Minwegen and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited license to use the App for personal purposes only.

10. Limitation of Liability

ENTERTAINMENT DISCLAIMER: Icebreakers is designed for entertainment and social purposes only. The App:

• Does not provide professional advice of any kind
• Is not a substitute for professional relationship counseling
• Makes no guarantees about social outcomes

11. Third Party Beneficiary

You acknowledge and agree that Apple, and Apple's subsidiaries, are third party beneficiaries of these Terms, and that Apple will have the right to enforce these Terms against you.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
